You are only 21, what can you tell the people about the world?
It's all about expressing something that I experience in a way that people hopefully can relate to. And my songs are about common issues.
Can the lyrics you write stay stand for themselves or do they just make sense for you in combination with your music?
On this record I tried to write lyrics that could stand alone without the music. On "Faces Down" it was different, the lyrics were written only for the music.
Ever thought about singing in Norwegian? How different from singing in your native tongue is singing in English?
English sounds better!
Any story behind the album title?
A simple description of a conversation situation where two people forget to listen and interact with each other in their eagerness to express their minds.

Hawaii. Endless, peaceful beaches, surfing possibilities and friendly people!

If you weren't a musician, what would you be?
A carpenter, I love doing that kind of things.
How different from yourself is Sondre Lerche the musician from Sondre Lerche the guy from next door?
The musician is focussed, forward looking and ambitious The boy is clam, relaxed and shy.

"He'll Have To Go", a Prefab Sprout B-side from "When Love Breaks Down" I think.
